VICIVISION UK and Metrios UK enjoyed a highly successful three days exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026, held at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre from 3–5 February.
Throughout the event, visitors to the Carfulan Stand Stand E230 saw live demonstrations of advanced non-contact optical measurement systems designed to deliver fast, accurate inspection for both turned and flat parts. The stand attracted strong interest from manufacturers across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, aerospace, medical and precision engineering.
Live demonstrations highlighted how VICIVISION and Metrios systems can significantly reduce inspection time while maintaining exceptional accuracy, helping manufacturers minimise scrap, improve consistency and keep production moving. The ease of use and suitability for shopfloor environments proved to be a key talking point, particularly for companies looking to move inspection closer to production.
The exhibition also provided an excellent opportunity for in-depth technical discussions, with many visitors engaging with the team to explore how optical metrology can be integrated into existing quality and manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
