The brand new PRIMA turned part measurement machine attracted plenty of admirers as VICIVISION UK enjoyed a successful return to the MACH Exhibition.
The UK’s leading trade show for the manufacturing industry came back after a four-year break due to the pandemic and VICIVISION UK took the opportunity to launch its latest addition to the optical measurement range.
Hundreds of visitors stepped onto the stand at the NEC in Birmingham, which VICIVISION UK shared alongside fellow Carfulan Group companies, and played its part in ensuring the show brought in a record number of enquiries for the Group, with a number of deals completed on the stand.
Graham Shaw, VICIVISION UK Sales Manager, said: “What a fantastic week we had at MACH 2022 and we are absolutely delighted with the interest shown in our machines from visitors to our stand.
“We would like to thank everyone who visited us at the exhibition, with many existing customers exploring the possibility of expanding their inspection capacity and potential new customers discovering our systems for the first time.
“We are looking forward to the weeks and months ahead, following up on these exciting opportunities and proving the true capabilities of our turned part and optical measurement machines.”
The Metrios Challenge proved to be a talking point, with hundreds of visitors to the stand testing their measurement skills for a place on the leaderboard, but it was Dan Birkin who was sitting pretty at the end of the week, carrying out basic measurements of a component in just 9.58 seconds. He was no match for VICIVISION UK’s Cameron Reeves, however, who clinched the staff crown with an impressive time of 8.90 seconds.
